Recovery Month!

Libras may have suffered a bit lately. The squares of Saturn and Pluto, especially for the first two decades, and Mars square as well did not help either mood or health. The first two planets are still there, but the good news is that Mars moves in trine and with the next equinox you will have the Sun and Mercury on your side too!

There could be no more pertinent quote than that of Śiva Svarodaya for this moment. It refers to breath and to the connection between nostrils and right and left part of the body. These latter are governed by the flows of the two main energy channels, respectively pingala and ida. Right nostril working in the morning and left working before going to bed at night are associated with a perfect physical and mental balance.

That’s what you’ll get, Libra, this month. Good health and good balance will allow you to achieve success in everything you engage. This short sequence will direct you:

Visualisation. I do not usually start a sequence with a concentration, but this technique will help you to load yourself with great energy and to make you more determined and with clearer ideas for the next poses. Sit in a meditative position and take some time to relax all your muscles. Imagine a two-petal flower, one gold, one silver, at the point between the eyebrows. The sun is in the middle of the flower. Dive into the sun, fill yourself with solar energy, feel warm and wrapped. Feel the warmth and let an image appear before you. Observe it. Then leave the flower and the image and come back into your body. Feel the energy (light and heat) that you have taken and let it spread throughout your body. // From 5 to 10 min.

Garuda-āsana, eagle pose. Focus on what you want, set your goals even if they seem to be far away. // 1 min per side.

Vīrabhadra-āsana, second variation. Vīrabhadra is one of Śiva’s terrifying forms, a symbol of strength, determination and self-assertion. It’s a pose of courage and action, that’s what you need to launch yourself into any endeavour. // 1-2 min. per side.
