Beware of quarrels!
It is not an easy month for Aries. The opposition of the Sun and, at the beginning of the month, of Mercury, makes Aries feel like everybody is challenging the projects and ideas that it has built up over the last few months. The squares of Saturn and Pluto give Aries, who’s already a rebellious spirit, even less tolerance for authorities and set risks of developing psychosomatic disorders due to stress.
One of the most famous definitions of yoga comes from the Bhagavad-Gita, an Indian sacred text. It teaches that yoga is samatva, that is equanimity. To remain unperturbed in front of pleasant or unpleasant experiences, is one of the most difficult virtues to learn. On the other hand, it is acquired only after understanding that every event in life can have a useful implication for inner growth.
So Aries, take this period as a test and thank every opponent because it makes you understand the value that you give to what you believe. Work on equanimity with this short sequence:
Trikona-āsana,, triangle pose. A harmonious position to be balanced on one side and the other. An example of balance and stability. It gives the sense of the base, bringing dynamism with measure and attention. // 1-2 min. per side.
Vriksha-āsana, tree pose. A way to restore calm and inner balance. // 1 min. per side.
Anuloma-Viloma prānāyāma, literally natural-unnatural breath, also called nādī-śuddhi or nādī-śodhana, that is cleansing of the channels. This technique helps to balance the body in all its aspects: from metabolism to nervous system, from circulation to breathing. Try to exhale twice the time of the inhalation! // From 3 to 10 min.
