Peaceful towards change!

A good month for Lion: Sun, Jupiter and Mercury are auspicious for great part of the month. Uranus trine promises the coveted changes and Venus square allows some fun and easy living. Some communication problems due to Mercury position could be present in the first half of the month, but with some patience everything can be easily resolved.

The essence of an āsana according to Patanjali is to stay in the state of sukha for a long period of time. Sukha, often translated as “easy” or “comfortable”, actually means “happy”. Sukha also means supreme bliss (sahaja ānanda), experienced in the state of the samadhi through the path of rāja-yoga. Back to āsanas, sukha refers  not only to being in a position without discomfort, but trying to make it something pleasant.

Try to find pleasure, Leo, in every position, that is in every situation. This does not mean that you have to idle, but rather you should act and face events serenely. Good luck is with you, take it.

Stay calm and alert with this short sequence:

Trikona-āsana,, triangle pose.  A harmonious position to be balanced on one side and the other. An example of balance and stability. It gives a sense of grounding, developing at the same time dynamism with measure and attention. // 1-2 min. per side.

Vriksha-āsana, tree pose. A way to restore calm and inner balance. // 1 min. per side.

Anuloma-Viloma prānāyāma, literally natural-unnatural breath, also called nādī-śuddhi or nādī-śodhana, that is cleansing of the channels. This technique helps to balance the body in all its aspects: from metabolism to nervous system, from circulation to breathing. Try to exhale twice the time of the inhalation! // From 3 to 10 min.
