Happy Birthday Sagittarius!

It should be a good birthday for Sagittarius, that finally finds some luck and serenity with the major planets all by its side. Uranus trine can give you something to think, a pause for reflection since it is still retrograde, to implement the necessary changes. The only nuisance can come from Mars square. Be careful not to be quarrelsome and argumentative. Much better if you can find a compromise with others, to avoid the risk of future failure.

Mauna is ritual silence. The word derives from muni, “inspired”, which indicates the ascetic, in particular the one who makes a vow of silence. Tejobindūpanishad motivates paradoxically the spiritual utility of silence with its completeness of meaning. Since nothing can be expressed in a complete way by articulated words or sounds, mauna becomes better than any nomenclature for an object or concept, because it is based on the inherent qualities of the object itself.

My advise, Sagittarius, is to try to keep quiet sometimes instead of fighting or be polemical. You will avoid big fights and you will be able to better understand the situation.

Cultivate listening with the same sequence of last month:

Mālā-āsana, garland pose. Take a moment  to withdrawn in yourself and wait patiently. // 1-2 min.

Ujjāyī prānāyāma, breath that gives victory or victorious breath. Sitting in a comfortable meditative pose, breathe, listen to your slow and deep breath. Be patient and calm. Use this breath to clear and stabilize the mind. Repeat it during the day in any position you are. Try to exhale twice the time of inhaltion! // From 3 to 6 min.

Mauna, ritual silence. You do not have to be in a meditative pose, you can do this exercise in any position at any time during the day. I recommend to try it in the morning immediately after getting up. Take ten minutes to listen: the noise of the water while you wash your face, the clink of the cups when you take one to make coffee, the refrigerator door that opens, and so on … listen to every little sound and you will notice that in all those little noises, you will find a wonderful silence, the silence of the mind. Practice listening. // 10 min.
