Cancer

Cancer

Be creative!

«If the lunar swara flows while asking the question, then there will be a compromise. If it is the solar swara to flow, then know that there will be war»(Śiva-svarodhaya, 263).

The svara (or swara) is, in the context of the Śiva-svarodhaya, the respiratory flow. If the flow is mainly in the right nostril, the person will presumably be very active, sometimes agitated. This could happen to you, Cancer, in the first half of the month. Saturn and Venus opposition and Mars square can cause conflicts, irritability, if not the end of a relationship (especially for those born in the second decade). If you get nervous, you will do nothing but worsen the situation (“there will be war“!). To avoid this reaction, consider another interesting meaning of the word svara: a note in the series of the musical octave. The svara, from the Sanskrit root svr ,”to play”, refers therefore to the ancient Indian concept of musical tone and represents the unity with which the solfeggi are performed and the raga, the melodies, are created.

So those same energies, that breath flow, can be used in many ways, Cancer. Passing through the right nostril can leave you agitated or, since the nostrils do not have a chiasm, but respond directly to the corresponding hemisphere, you can take advantage of the activation of the right hemisphere to give life to something new. Since at the end of the month the Sun will ask you to take stock of your life and Mercury will push you to be productive, put aside laziness and slaughter and try to be creative!

Just a few minutes of practice a day to find inspiration:

Ardha-Matsyendra-āsana, half Matsyendra pose.  Look at the situazione from all point of view. This pose gives you joy and good mood. // 1-2 min. per side.

Brāhmarī-prānāyāma, bee breath. Emit an expiring sound like a fly buzzing around your ears. It relaxes the nerves and the mind and favors concentration. // 1-2 min.

Visualisation. Relax in a meditative position. Take some time to relax all your muscles. Imagine you are sitting on a flying carpet. It rises from the ground and takes you out of the house, towards the sky, towards the sun. The air is pleasant, the sun’s rays heat you up. Pass over the ocean. You see an island, observe its shape. You decide to go down. It’s a peaceful, quiet place. Walk on the beach. The sea is calm. Only you are there and you can do whatever you want: explore the island, enter the water, relax, etc. When it’s time to come back, pick up your carpet and fly back to where you came from. You find yourself again in the room in a meditative pose. See how you feel. // From 5 to 15 min.

TOTAL TIME: from 8 to 21 minutes.

MANTRA of the MONTH: «I create my own melody».
