Healthy habits!

«Oh Lord! Give us the best treasures; an efficient mind and spiritual eminence, the increase of well-being, the health of the body, the sweetness of language and the justice of the days» (Rig-veda, 2.21.16)

Probably justice will seem to be missing according to you this month, Leone. Yo’ve started the year well and it seems that everything can work, but then something goes wrong and you feel disappointment and discouragement. The same can be said for communications, which could be productive, but certainly not “sweet”. Be careful to cultivate the sweetness of language, especially towards the end of the month, when Mars will make you more irritable.

You will have for sure an efficient mind, since Jupiter trine gives you a lot of vitality. You would better invest this energetic charge in new ideas and especially in new healthy habits. For example, you could dedicate yourself to physical activity, some which may not exhaust you too much, and adopt a healthier diet. All of this would help you to face Sun opposition and Mars square and would allow you to constructively channel the energies of Jupiter.

A few minutes a day for a better health:

Jātharaparivartana-āsana, posizione di rotazione dell’addome. A relaxing and very helpful position, especially for back pain and digestive disorders. // 2-3 min. per side.

Vriksha-āsana, posizione dell’albero. Besides strengthening the legs and stretching the spine, it gives a great sense of calm, calms down anxiety, and helps to center yourself.  // 1 min. per side.

Anuloma-Viloma prānāyāma, literally natural-unnatural breath, also called nādī-śuddhi or nādī-śodhana, that is cleansing of the channels. This technique helps to balance the body in all its aspects: from metabolism to nervous system, from circulation to breathing. Try to exhale twice the time of the inhalation! // From 3 to 10 min.

TOTAL TIME: from 9 to 18 minutes.

MANTRA of the MONTH: «Lam Vam Ram». (these are the bīja-mantra of the three lower chakras, which respectively regulate the excretory, reproductive and digestive system. The mantra is an excellent exercise of breath and singing too… just to remind you of the “sweetness of language“!)
