A lively month!
«Faith in Dharma (what must be done) and in Adharma (what must not be done) is called āstikya» (Vasistha-samhitā, 1.56)
Āstikya is a term that can be generally translated as faith. In Jainism, an Hindu religion, āstikya is an aspect of samyaktva, which is the right belief, and it indicates the acceptance of the Jainist doctrines as a truth. In Sanskrit it’s just faith in God or in another world. On the other hand dharma, the universal law that determines one’s role in existence, is a question of faith too. You may think that the potential with which a person is born is aimed at a specific purpose, or it is just a chance.
Astrology is a question of faith too. We can, however, agree that exploiting one’s potential and listening to wise counsels are reasonable and appropriate choices beyond any faith. Now, you have to consider Taurus that Saturn trine will help you build your future success, but only if you put yourself to work patiently and tenaciously. Consider then that Venus trine, Sun and Mercury square in the first half of the month and Mars conjunction in the second half will provide you with a period of relationships, a lot of ideas, perhaps a frantic pace, challenges and maybe some conflict. So it is good to take advantage of a month so lively, because the vitality available will be so nuch! Anyway you have to direct all these energies well, and understand what needs to be done and what should not be done!
Just a few minutes a day to help you keep the focus:
Chaturangadanda-āsana, four limbed staff. Strong arms make you feel the determination to get what you want. // From 30 sec to 1 min.
Garuda-āsana, eagle pose. Focus on what you want, set your goals even if they seem to be far away. // 1 min per side.
Ājnā kriyā, cleansing of the third eye. In any position, at any time, keep your mind relaxed and clear. Be aware of your mental state. See if you prefer to turn your thumb clockwise or counterclockwise. Repeat it several times a day. // 1 min.
TOTAL TIME: from 4 to 6 minutes.
MANTRA of the MONTH: «I know what I want to reach».
