Other point of view!

«When craving, anger, greed, illusion, arrogance and jealousy are seen and recognized inside, focusing the mind on it, the element that underlies them all, their essence is isolated». (Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra, 101, Dhāranā on negative qualities).

You have good opportunities to grow as a person and expand on a career level, Virgo. Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto are all directed to this purpose for what concerns you. Thanks to the influence of Jupiter and Venus you can also good health and good relationships too. The only problem could be given by the negative qualities that each of us carries within us and that sometimes take the upper hand. In your case, arrogance is the problem and perhaps even greed. If you do not control them you could run into animated discussions with others and consequently some disappointment. You may be suspicious and think that certain obstacles or failures are due to other people rowing against you.

The only solution is to stay focused. The exercise of ekatattva, concentration on one principle, the base of meditation, is given in yoga as a remedy against nervousness and suffering, which are considered symptoms of an unbalanced mind. Concentration, dhāranā, can be performed on any object. In your case I would follow the advice of Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra and I would dedicate myself to the meditative analysis of certain negative qualities to understand what is at their base and then solve them. So stay focused, work and keep humility to be open to other points of view, different from yours, but no less valid.

A few minutes of practice a day will help you in your intent:

Vriksha-āsana, tree pose. Balanced and stable on your legs. Keep your attention on a point to maintain balance. // 1 min. on the side.

Virabhadra-āsana, Virabhadra pose, third variant. Still a balance pose, but more slender and determined. // 1-2 min. on the side.

Concentration. Sit in a meditative position. Take a moment to relax all your muscles. Observe the state of your mind. Think about the last time you had an arrogant attitude. Think about the situation, see if you can recognize a reason that caused it, think about the consequences of your attitude and how you felt afterwards. Do not give any judgment, simply observe. When you have analyzed the situation, try to go back in your memory and look for other similar situations by applying the same process: arrogance, situation, cause, consequences, emotions. Never judge, limit yourself to observe. // From 5 to 15 min.

TOTAL TIME: from 9 to 16 minutes.

MANTRA of the MONTH: «I am open to reconsider my beliefs».
