Traveling!
«May my mind, that travel too far, which is the light of the lights, the only source of all wisdom, wandering in far-off places whether I sleep or awake, turn to what is noble» (Yajur-veda, 34.1)
For the next few years Uranus square may surprise Leo with unexpected events. If this already happens this month, your reaction would not be one of calm and acceptance. Venus makes you lazy and indulgent, so you are not inclined to face a change, while Mars is looming all over the month making you irritable and immediately reactive. The good news is that this month probably nothing will happen. Unless you are working for your health, taking advantage of your ideas, to change and direct your life towards what you want, which is actually what you should do right now.
Combine Mars and Jupiter energies and exploit this potential to enrich your life, Leo. It could be a good time for a trip. As the Vedas recite, the mind can travel either when awake or asleep, and it often travels too far. This is why we need yoga and meditative techniques: to bring the mind back here and now. However, when journeys are fully aware and designed for inner enrichment, then the mind not only expands its horizons, but also finds lightness and well-being. Whether you travel physically or not, Leo, direct your mind toward what is noble (beneficial to you!).
Enrich yourself by traveling with these exercises:
Kūrma-āsana, turtle pose. Withdraw as the turtle withdraws its limbs and head. If you do not reach the feet with you forehead, use a support to rest your head. Make the position comfortable. Observe the flow of thoughts and look where it takes you. // 2-3 min.
Śalabha-āsana, locust pose. locust. Strong and determined to pursue what you want, even by covering long distances. // From 30 sec. to 1 min.
Visualisation. Relax in a meditative pose. Take some time to relax all your muscles. Imagine you are sitting on a flying carpet. It rises from the ground and takes you out of the house, towards the sky, towards the sun. The air is pleasant, the sun’s rays heat you up. Pass over the ocean. You see an island, observe its shape. You decide to go down. It’s a peaceful, quiet place. Walk on the beach. The sea is calm. Nobody is there and you can do whatever you want: explore the island, enter the water, relax, etc. When you think you’ve finished, pick up your carpet and fly back. You find yourself again in the room in a meditative pose. See how you feel. // From 5 to 15 min.
TOTAL TIME: from 9 to 18 minutes.
MANTRA of the MONTH: «I expand my horizons»
