Lāghava – lightness

«Being the first accessory of hatha-yoga, āsana is described first. It should be practiced for gaining steady posture, health and lightness» (Hathayoga-pradipika, 1.17).

You are finally relieved of the weight of Saturn, at least for a few months, Capricorn. The time has come for a bit of lightness, positivity and you will feel it more and more as you move forward in the month.

You have been asked for profound reflections in recent years and you are still inclined to do them. Now, after many reflections, it is important to understand how you can enjoy life. It is not enough to have luck on your side, you need to be free of inner burdens to be able to enjoy serenity and tranquility. Lightness comes from within!

IN PRACTICE  

Chataka-āsana, lark pose

Look for lightness and think of the song of who is happy. Practice it every day for one minute per side.

Awareness exercise

Whenever you feel weighed down by an event, by a situation, look inside yourself. Is it possible to face the same thing from another point of view? Are there any positive aspects in what happens? Can you draw a lesson from it? Is there at least one aspect of the thing that can make you smile?
