Samnyasa – renunciation 

«Not by merely abstaining from work can one achieve freedom from reaction, nor by renunciation alone can one attain perfection» (Bhagavad-gītā, 3.4).

You tend to get nervous Sagittarius, perhaps because of situations that you thought you had overcome and that make you realize that what you thought you had learned has not yet become something stable within you.

You will think then that you never learn, that you might as well give up, let go and enjoy the pleasures that you can, without engaging in anything, but it risks becoming an extreme position. And then, as the verse says, doing nothing has consequences too.

In any case, you can stay still for the moment, but at least keep watching you, as I advised you last month. You will learn much more than you think and what you learn in this way will soon pay off.

Take a minute or two each day for some introspection in this āsana.

Awareness exercise

Whenever you get nervous, try to become immediately aware of it. Stop and take five deep breaths in ujjayi, observe what happens in the body and mind with breathing.
