Hridya – pleasant
«Food dear to those in the mode of goodness increase the duration of life, purify one’s existence and give strength, health, happiness and satisfaction- Such foods are juicy, fatty, wholesome, and pleasing to the heart». (Darshana Upanishad, 1.14-15).
Hridya means pleasant, lovable. Being hridaya the word meaning “heart”, hridya is something that is pleasing to the heart, something dear, loved. In the above verse it is recommended to eat food that is “pleasant to the heart”, because food also affects the heart and mind.
On Easter day, perhaps you are not in the best mood, Aries, maybe you were expecting something else. In general, however, the month should pass in a particularly pleasant way for you. Relationships find a good stability, you seem to have more listening from people and probably it is. This gives you a note of optimism and positivity that pushes you to open up to new experiences or start learning that thing you have been putting off for a long time. In short, nourish yourself with food that is pleasant for the body and mind!
