Punarukta – superfluous
«Any clerk who violates or deviates from the prescribed form of writing accounts, enters what is unknown to him, or makes double or treble entries (punarukta) shall be fined 12 panas» (Arthashastra, 2.7).
The Arthashastra is attributed to Kautilya (also called Vishnugupta and Chanakya) and dates back to the period 321-296 BC. It includes domestic and foreign affairs, civil, military, commercial, fiscal, judicial, weight tables, length measures and time divisions. In the verse cited above, the employee is punished for having counted the superfluous (punarukta), the unnecessary, which weighs down and enlarges the accounts unnecessarily.
Wait until the end of the month and you will return to feel in harmony with the world, Capricorn. In the meantime, accept conflicts and possible disappointments as part of the path of recent years, which still has to dispose of his aftermath. There is no need to compare these to other disappointments of the past. Now they are necessary to open you up to a new way of seeing life and above all living it. First you removed the weights, you lightened yourself, now you have to remove all the contours, all the superfluous that was there and that maybe you didn’t want to see. The superfluous magnifies the accounts unnecessarily!
