Prajaya – conquest
«Success comes to him who is engaged in the practice. How can one get success without practice; for by merely reading books on Yoga, one can never get success. Success cannot be attained by adopting a particular dress (Vesa). It cannot be gained by telling tales. Practice alone is the means to success. This is true, there is no doubt» (Hathayoga-Pradīpikā, I.65.66).
Prajaya is the term used in this verse along with siddhi to indicate success in yoga. Prajaya means victory, conquest. Of course, the greatest achievements in yoga are internal.
It’s your birthday, Leo, and who knows that some news won’t come with this birthday. The question is whether you are ready to welcome the new. Maybe you are still so anchored that you cry the old days or what is about to end without noticing the opportunities that are looming on the horizon. You may not be able to see them because they imply a change of perspective not only of past and future, but also of life values. Perhaps it is time to begin to consider important what you did not pay attention to before.
IN PRACTICE
Ardha matsyendra–āsana, partial sage Matsyendra pose
Stay still and sit where you are, but look around, open yourself to what is coming from all sides.

Observe yourself in the little everyday things. What do you value and what do you tend to overlook? Stop for a moment and observe yourself as you say phrases like “It doesn’t matter”, “Ok, let’s move on to something else”, “I’m busy”, “I can’t put off”, “This is more important” etc.
Mantra of the month
«What is really important?».
