Breakthrough!

Beware of energy accumulation, Aries. With Urano strength and Mars conjunction, this month can be so explosive to subvert the order of things, with the risk of causing troubles too. Saturn, Sun and Mercury square make the period critical and test your patience and inner strength. Jupiter trine, although positive, carries the risk of inflaming you even more. Luckily, Venus brings harmony and compensates for any friction in relationships.

Amrita is the nectar of immortality that oozes from the skullcap, in the so-called chandra-mandala, at the center of the seventh chakra, the sahashrāra. From the top of the head, amrita descends into the throat and from there to the abdomen, where it is burned by the gastric fire. Death occurs when all the nectar is burned. Hatha-yoga techniques, mudrās in particular, are thought and executed to avoid the consumption of amrita as much as possible.

The advice, Aries, is to vent excess energy with a bit of physical activity, but without “burning”. Walks in open air would be ideal.

Find a tonic in yoga-practice as well with this short sequence:

Chaturangadanda-āsana, four limbed staff. Feel strong and stable at the same time. // From 30 sec to 1 min.

Trikona-āsana, triangle pose. Establish your balance, a proportion between your parts. Look for openness and harmony. // 1-2 min. per side.

Manduki-mudrā, frog gesture. Mouth closed, rotate the tongue, so that the tip touches the upper palate. Maintain concentration on the sensations on the tip of the tongue. // 1-2 min.

TOTAL TIME: from 4 to 7 minutes.
