A human side!

«Abandonment of all latent tendencies is said to be the best (i.e. real) liberation by the wise; that is also the faultless method (of attaining liberation)» (Yoga-vāsistha-sāra,, III.23).

Are you sure about what you do and what you’re pursuing? Probably not, given the looming Neptune which makes you confuse and unstable. Yet this month the Sun square asks you to complete your projects despite any challenges, as long as you reconsider some aspects. Perhaps so far you have looked only at the material aspect, what you want, without taking too much into account others’ needs or others’ demands. That’s why now you feel like many people pose obstacles to what you are trying to do. Now you’re asked to change your point of view: Venus opens you to relationships and Mercury allows you to learn from mistakes. So start thinking about a more humane side of your projects, including those aspects that you may have overlooked for uncertainty, suspicion or even arrogance.

Review the quote above. Only by abandoning the latent tendencies will you be truly free to accomplish what you want. The text refers in particular to vâsanâ, present personality tendencies, inherited from the karma of previous lives. The actions previously made leave impressions, samskâra, which determine the trends of this life behavior. In fact it is not necessary to refer to previous lives to think about trends. Even experiences of this life leave impressions that necessarily determine our current behavior. So, again, reflect on the latent aspects that may have closed you to others and open up to trust and sharing!

Practice these exercises to get rid of fears:

Matsya-āsana, fish pose. Open your pelvis and lower part of the abdomen, your heart and throat. Fish represent unconscious contents, let them emerge. // 1-2 min.

Ardha-Matsyendra-āsana, half Matsyendra pose. The ability to turn on each side indicates the willingness to open up to others. At the same time the pose makes you feel a sense of pride and dignity, giving you joy and good mood. // 1-2 min. per side.

Upavisthakona-āsana, downwards open angle. Try to relax your hips, let them open. If you do not arrive with your forehead on the ground, relax your head on a support. Let yourself go and see how you feel. // 2 – 4 min.

TOTAL TIME: from  5 to 10 min.

MANTRA of the MONTH: «Success comes from freedom».
