Prasanna – tranquil
«One who is thus transcendentally situated at once realizes the Supreme Brahman and becomes fully joyful. He never laments or desires to have anything. He is equally disposed toward every living entity. In that state he attains pure devotional service unto Me» (Bhagavad-gītā, 18.54).
It is certainly not easy to achieve Transcendence, but it is not so difficult to be prasanna. The term indicates a placid, calm person, satisfied with what he has and therefore serene and happy. Such a person is generally well disposed towards others, he is pleasant and kind and clear and transparent in his intent.
I suggest, Scorpio, to take the concept of prasanna as a reference. This month, in fact, you begin maybe a bit tired and as a result you may find yourself somewhat moody. Fortunately, people around you understand you and support you and this recharges you with enthusiasm, because in the end you are not looking for a fight. You want to feel comfortable and are willing to learn new approaches to existence. Opportunities won’t lack.
Stay open with this short sequence:
Ardha-Matsyendra-āsana, half Matsyendra pose. The ability to turn on each side indicates the willingness to open up to others. At the same time the pose makes you feel a sense of pride and dignity, giving you joy and good mood. // 1-2 min. per side.
Ujjāyī prānāyāma, breath-giving victory or victorious breath. Sitting in a comfortable meditative position, breathe, listen to the slow and deep breath. Try to breathe out twice as long as the time of the inspiration! // 3 to 6 min.
Visualization. Relax in a meditative pose. Take some time to relax all your muscles. Imagine a beach that you know, that you like or that you create with your imagination. Imagine you are sitting there at sunset. The sea is calm, try to perceive its noise. There is a light, pleasant breeze that brings the smells of the environment. Fully relaxed in body and mind, listen until you hear a very pleasant melody. See if it is unknown or new music. The sounds then slowly fade into the air. // From 5 to 15 min
