Libra

So ham – I am that

«Paingala again said to Yajnavalkya, “Explain to me the meaning of the maha vakya (Great Aphorisms).” Yajnavalkya replied, tat tvam asi (“you are that”), so ‘ham (“I am that”), aham brahmasmi (“I am Brahman”): on these you must meditate» (Paingala Upanishad. 3.1-2)

For you, Libra, it’s a long period of inquisition on one of life’s biggest questions: “Who am I?” .

The long-transit planets like Saturn, Pluto and Chiron, lead you to wonder what you want to do with your life. You wonder if what you are carrying out is right. You are patient, constant and reflective, but not without a sense of discouragement. This month, shortest transits bring you challenges and obstacles too, to test the validity of your projects and your ideas again. In all this Libra, what you can do, in addition to holding on, is being flexible enough to learn from mistakes and eventually change course. The greatest consolation comes to you from affections, which are instead stable, serene and above all of great support. Then, as I advised you already last month, enjoy and cherish affections this month, they will give you the strength and serenity of mind to face all the rest.

Continue with last month’s sequence, but with a new mantra:

Setubandha-āsana, bridge pose. Open your heart. // 1-2 min.

Paścimottāna-āsana, stretch of the west or back of body. Since the purpose here is the ability to abandon yourself, you can use a support to lean the forehead.  Don’t look for stretching, don’t look for anything. If you are able to let yourself go, the feeling of relaxation is magnificent!

From 1 to 5 min.

Mālā-āsana, garland pose. To develop patience. // 2 min.

TOTAL TIME: from 3 to 9 minutes.

MANTRA of the MONTH: «I feel loved».

Setubandha-āsana
Pashcimottana-āsana
Mala-āsana
