Pramāthi – impetuous
«The senses are so strong and impetuous, O Arjuna, that they drag away even the mind of the wise man who strives to control them» (Bhagavad-gītā, 2.60).
Pramathi actually means “worrying”, “annoying”, “destructive” and indicates agitation and one who is agitated is also a destroyer.
You are still on the cutting edge, Taurus, but when it goes like this you have to be careful not to get too excited and ruin everything with arrogance. If you hold off pride, irritability and intolerance, you can reach the pinnacle of this lucky moment without collateral damage. Fortunately, a good Venus on your side helps you establish good relationships, which in turn will give you support and will be able to override the impetuosity of Taurus.
Vatayana-āsana, horse pose
In the Bhagavad-gītā the comparison between horses and the senses is very famous. The yogi like the charioteer must be able to tame horses.
Do you want to train yourself to be patient? Take five minutes every now and then, sit in a meditative position and think of something that makes you angry or annoyed. Observe your reactions, both mental and physical, then try to understand which aspect in particular annoys you and if and how that aspect manifests itself in you too.
Mantra of the month
«I tame my horses».
