«The expansion of the mind into the womb is a nonspecific knowledge, a dream» (Śiva-Sutra, II.4).
Saturn is in opposition to your Sun and this brings, especially to those born in the first decade, a sense of decay and depression. Cancer, the greatest dreamer, finds relief this month from his gloomy thoughts thanks to the trine of Venus and Neptune, which are in conjunction. A favorable Venus makes you Cancer even more romantic, but pay attention to Neptune delusive and idealistic pitfalls!
The womb mentioned in the Śiva-Sutra refers to the great belly in which we all are immersed, the māyā. Māyā is the reality of this manifest world, which reveals itself to be illusory to the eyes of the Enlightened. The danger of illusion is the inability to accept what does not come along as your expectations wanted, causing thus disappointment and suffering.
Enjoy your romanticism, Cancer, but be careful not to create dreams or big ideals to escape the reality of things. As far as possible, keep your feet on the ground. This short sequence can help you:
Ardha-stambha-āsana, half pillar pose, also called ardha-hala-āsana, half plow pose. Hands well firm on the ground, legs up, but held tight by the strength of the abdomen, symbol of will. Face is relaxed. The gaze is towards the sky, but the foundations are on the ground. // 1-2 min.
Vriksha-āsana, tree pose. You can dream, rush towards the sky, but with roots firmly planted in the ground. // 1 min per side.
Ājnā kriyā, cleansing of the third eye. In any position, at any time, keep your mind relaxed and clear. Be aware of your mental state. See if you prefer to turn your thumb clockwise or counterclockwise. Repeat it several times a day. // 1 min.
TOTAL TIME: from 4 to 5 minutes.
